Christmas Eve at Mom's and Christians Aunt and Uncles.

We were testing the spiritual laws of the universe taking this picture but thanks to God Grace nobody bursted into flames.

Linco said he wanted to be a football man like Daddy. And it's so unfortunate (for Christian) the only jersey Lincoln's size is the Packers.

This is the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!

Christmas 2007

Sophia liked checking herself out in the shiny bulbs. This is the tree at her Aunt and Uncle Stines.

Linco styled Sophia's hair. He said he wanted her to look beautiful!

Lincoln and cousin Torin, 5, make Christmas ornaments. Linco made Tiger from Fievel goes West

Sophia and Dad

Linco and Sophia love the decorations. Linco went out in his PJ's to blow up the snow man

Bath time. Nearly every night Linco and Sophia take a bath together. Even when we try to take them seperately Sophia will try to jump in with Linco, pretty much anytime she's in the bathroom she tries to crawl into the tub.

She always sucks on her wash cloth, it just hangs out of her mouth like a dog carries a bone. After the bath she tries at all cost to detour her diaper. First she has to ride her horse and then she crawls up the ottoman on to her chair and pulls out all of her books and pretends to become completly captivated by them. She does this every time. It's too cute.
Here's Sophia and Grandma Hurst at Hallelujah Night at our church. She was a flower. Lincoln was a bird- he still is wearing his hat. He says " I am still a bird."

Two little pumpkins

We attended a pumpkin party. Lincoln was a bird and Sophia was a flower.

Here they are at the pumpkin patch picking out a pumpkin.

I had to show Sophia's puppy dog cake. We used one of the paws for her own little cake. She didn't make a mess, she just got it on her hands and face. Little lady.

Sophia's 1st Birthday

Lincoln

For Lincoln 4th Birthday we enrolled him in karate. He is a little Tigger!

Lincoln

Here's Lincoln and Sophia with cousins in Wisconsin

here he set up his very own tractor.

Linco

Lincoln is very much into bugs. He knows which ants are friendly and which ones bite. He love butterflies but we're still working on not touching their wings.

Sophia

Today Sophia pulled up on her changing table and she thought she was so hot.

Here Sophia's eating her first big girl meal. She loves table food, if some one else is eating she grunts and begs until she gets some.
Sophia is pulling up on everything and she's cruising. Walking along the couch and bravely walking over to the ottoman. Very grown up. If you look closely you can see her two bottom teeth when she's making that sassy face (shown below.)

Grandma Flori sent him this suit. We went swimming last weekend and got himself suited up and ready to go. When we arrived, he grabbed Sophia's ring float and jumped in-without telling anyone! Ofcourse he floated and there was no trouble. He has a new confidence when he's in his special suit!

I know there are more pictures of Lincoln than there are of Sophia and that's only b/c he's my favorite . . .just kidding. Sophia is usually on my hip while I'm taking pictures. So you can just picture her in a different outfit giving you the same big smile.

One tough cowboy

Steen/ Stine Grandparents

We took a visit to Meme and Poppi's house today. Linco had quite the adventure.

Here he is with Great Grandma Stine, Meme( Grandma Steen), and Blitz ( the horse)

Dr Lincoln

He stuck a suction thing to his forehead and said he was a doctor. And here you can see how short his hair was after the cut . . .

Hair cut

This happened at the beginning of June. Lincoln gave himself a haircut
"I beautiful now."

The expressions of Lincoln. The only time I can get a sincere smile is when he's not looking. He has his Uncle Paul's hat on, Linco so admires his Uncle Paul.

Sophia is finally getting two bottom teeth. She likes to pull up and crawl everywhere. She finds the tiniest little things to put in her mouth not to mention shoes! She tries to stand on her own too. She is so brave. She's full of joy. Always laughing and smiling, she's very vocal too. The only understandable words are Mamma, DaddA, All done and Ninight.

Here some recent pictures of the children. Sophia is 9 months, Lincoln will be 4 years old in September.

They are rocking on her horsey. She gets so tickled everytime she's on it.

Steen Family First Entry

I wanted to start a blog page so I could keep everyone updated with pictures of the children.

Here are recent pictures. Sophia is 9 months and she's finally getting two bottom teeth. She's been handling it with such grace. Lincoln sloppered all over and wet thru a bib an hour. Sophia is a little drooly but we don't need to keep bibs on her.

Linco is 3 going on 15, he started going to his room and shutting the door behind him if Sophia tries to get in. Outside of that, the two love one another and he really looks out for her.
